The Aladino Classic is a standout in the modern cigar world—an honest, flavorful blend that honors the Eiroa family's deep Cuban roots and mastery of authentic Corojo tobacco. Produced by JRE Tobacco, Aladino may be a newer name, but its legacy is undeniable. The Eiroas have been shaping premium cigars for generations—growing and blending authentic Corojo since their days in Cuba, and continuing that tradition in Honduras after the embargo.
Before launching the Aladino line, JRE Tobacco crafted legendary blends for brands like Room 101 and Camacho (pre-Davidoff)—so there's a good chance you've enjoyed their prized leaf without even knowing it.
Released in 2022, the Aladino Classic celebrates the family's dedication to pure Corojo by highlighting tobacco grown in the fertile Jamastran Valley of Honduras—a region known for producing leaf with a true Cuban soul.
This Classic Toro is medium-bodied but rich in flavor, delivering a clean, satisfying profile of cedar, cream, earth, and a subtle hint of pepper. Rolled to perfection at the JRE farm, each draw is smooth, balanced, and undeniably old-school—perfect for everyday enjoyment.
The Jamastran Valley in Honduras is one of the world's most important Corojo-growing regions, and the Eiroa family has cultivated tobacco there for decades following their departure from Cuba. Authentic Corojo seed — the same varietal that made Cuban cigars legendary in the pre-embargo era — is notoriously difficult to grow consistently outside of Cuba, which is why the Aladino Classic represents a genuine achievement in Honduran tobacco cultivation. The Honduran puro construction means every component of this cigar comes from the same growing region, creating a coherence and specificity of terroir that blended-country cigars cannot replicate. A classic daily smoke with genuine Cuban heritage at its roots — and one of the best value Honduran cigars available today.
