Julio R. Eiroa and his family are at the center of the Corojo tobacco leaf’s success, having cultivated the Cuban-seed tobacco for over 50 years. Their Authentic Corojo tobacco is the focus of the luxuriously nostalgic Aladino Corojo blend. The Aladino Corojo Robusto is a 5” x 50 throwback to the glory days of Cuban cigars, offering savory body, taste, and complexity wrapped up in a smooth, satisfying character.
The Aladino Corojo Robusto features Corojo tobacco grown on the Eiroa family’s 700 acres of fertile soil in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. Climate and soil harmonize to provide ideal conditions to cultivate the difficult-to-grow Corojo leaf, imparting plush natural tobacco flavors reminiscent of classic pre-embargo Cuban cigars.
The Aladino Corojo Robusto delivers a richly texture medium-bodied experience with woody, earthy, and peppery undertones. Intriguing floral, baking spice, leather, and hazelnut nuances add playful layers to the smoke. A sweet and spicy character punctuates the final runup to a voluptuous finish.
Aladino Corojo Robusto cigars are handmade at Julio R. Eiroa’s Fabrica de Puros Aladino factory in Las Lomas, Honduras. These sumptuous Honduran Corojo Puros capture the spirit of classic Cuban cigars while reminding cigar lovers that Honduras is still one of the world’s great cigar-making centers.
