Privada Storytelling
The Antben Cigar BP Maduro Toro represents the fusion of tobacco artistry and visual artistry. Crafted by AJ Fernández and aged under his supervision, this box-pressed toro wears a bold Mexican San Andrés wrapper over estate-grown Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It’s a cigar with muscle, elegance, and patience, delivering a smoking experience as refined as it is powerful.
The name Antben carries weight outside of tobacco as well. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and raised on Chicago’s west side in Humboldt Park, Ant’s creative journey was forged in the graffiti-lined streets of the city. Over time, those gritty, hand-styled roots transformed into his now-iconic calligraffiti and design work. From Nike to Tesla, Chicago Bulls to Fortnite, and even collaborations with AJ Fernández, Ant’s creative reach spans industries, and the Maduro Toro is the embodiment of that blend of edge and sophistication.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with bold black pepper and espresso, smoothed by dark chocolate and cedar. Midway, molasses sweetness and earthy depth weave in with roasted nuts. The final third crescendos into dried fruit and charred oak with lingering spice, finishing rich and full-bodied while staying refined.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada celebrates rare collaborations and stories that go beyond tobacco. The Antben BP Maduro Toro is one such release — a cigar aged and blended by AJ Fernández, but born from Ant’s creative DNA. It’s more than a cigar; it’s a living piece of art, carrying the soul of graffiti walls, calligraphy strokes, and Estelí’s fertile soil into your humidor.
