Apple Valley Pie Shell Top 5" - 120 x 48 g
Apple Valley Pie Shells are made from premium dough and can be used for both sweet and savory applications. From fruit pies to quiche to meat pies, there are endless recipes that can be created with just one tart shell sku. Premium dough makes your individual fruit pies, cream pies, butter tarts, etc. that much more delectable.
Zero Trans-fat, reduced trans-fat and low sodium options are available. The plant is Kosher certified by the COR - Kashruth Council of Canada.
This unbaked pie shell provides you with a premium pie crust that is sure to make your dessert stand out. Thick and sturdy, this dish pie shell has tall, nicely crimped edges that bakes to a visually-appealing golden brown color with a buttery, flaky crust. Fill this pie shell with your signature pumpkin pies, savory broccoli, mushroom, and gouda quiches, or classic, tart lemon meringue pie! No matter what you choose to make, the crust is sure to hold up to your cream, meringue, fruit, or quiche fillings after baking.
This pie shell is made to produce a flakier pie. Full of flavor with 0 grams of trans fat, this pie shell is a great way to reduce prep time in your kitchen without compromising the reputation of your famous recipes. To prepare, keep frozen until ready to bake and place on a flat baking sheet and prick the sides and bottom with a fork. For conventional ovens, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the crust is a light, golden brown. For convection ovens, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the crust is a light, golden brown. Cool at room temperature prior to filling.
Impulse sales are often driven by smell. It's hard to resist the aroma of a pie in the oven. Increase your sales by baking pies during peak hours or all day long. Apple Valley makes it easy. Simply remove the pies from the packaging, place them on your baking trays and into your preheated oven. Watch the consumers drift towards the bakery. Once the pies are cooled, you can put them back into the cartons and right onto your shelves. They won't stay there long! OR if you have a Foodservice establishment, let patrons know they can stay and enjoy a slice of pie at your restaurant or take a full pie home to share with family and friends.
