Eight years in the making, and worth every moment. Appleton Estate Reserve 8 Year is Master Blender Joy Spence's tribute to patience and precision — a carefully composed blend of pot and column still rums, aged a minimum of 8 years under the Jamaican sun in Nassau Valley. The tropical climate accelerates maturation, coaxing richness and character from the oak at a pace that cooler climates simply can't match.
On the nose, expect warm vanilla, ripe banana, and a gentle waft of toasted oak. The palate delivers a smooth, medium-bodied experience with notes of honey, dried apricot, and a touch of cinnamon spice. The finish is clean and lingering — refined enough to sip neat, versatile enough to elevate any cocktail.
