Bardstown Wheated Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is a 6-year-old, 100-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Bardstown Bourbon Company's "Origin Series." As a strict Bottled-in-Bond product, it is 100% estate-distilled during a single distillation season. Featuring a distinct high-wheat mashbill, this beautifully balanced bourbon presents a creamy, modern twist on traditional recipes. On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of baked peach, vanilla, cocoa, and subtle hints of lemon zest. The palate is rich and decadent, delivering indulgent layers of stone fruit, toffee, and warm baking spices. The finish is long, soft, and alluring, making it an exceptional neat sipper or a premium base for a Kentucky Mule.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with rich, caramelized dishes such as sticky BBQ ribs, roasted pork belly, or seared duck breast. For dessert, its fruit and toffee notes beautifully complement peach cobbler, vanilla bean ice cream, milk chocolate, or warm cinnamon rolls.
Tasting Notes : Rich copper with a soft, full-bodied, and velvety mouthfeel.
Nose : Warm vanilla, honeyed pastry, sweet oak, dark caramel, and gentle cinnamon.
Palate : Creamy and balanced with flavors of butterscotch, ripe orchard fruit, brown sugar, toasted wheat, and baking spice.
Finish : Long, smooth, and warming with lingering notes of sweet vanilla, soft oak, and mild spice.
Serve : Serve neat, over a large ice cube, or as an elevated base for an Old Fashioned.
