Experience the bold, exotic flavors of the CAO Amazon Basin 2026, one of General Cigar Co.’s most sought-after limited edition cigars. This 6 x 52 toro features a rich Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and premium filler tobaccos from Brazil, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, expertly crafted at STG Estelí in Nicaragua.
What sets the Amazon Basin apart is its rare Brazilian Bragança tobacco, grown deep in the Amazon rainforest. These plants are spaced a full yard apart and harvested only once every three years. After harvesting, the leaves are aged in tubes called carottes for six months, creating a smooth, complex smoke with layers of earthy, spicy, and subtly sweet notes.
Since its 2014 debut, the CAO Amazon Basin has become a favorite among cigar enthusiasts, inspiring offshoots like the CAO Amazon Fumo em Corda, Amazon Anaconda, and Orellana. Each release carries a unique string-tied band, honoring the traditional craftsmanship behind this legendary cigar.
Available now in limited quantities, the CAO Amazon Basin 2026 is perfect for collectors, connoisseurs, and anyone seeking a premium, exotic smoking experience.
