Every once in a while a cigar comes along that is so fantastically unique that it becomes a legend of its own time and that time is now with the CAO Amazon Basin. This beautiful smoke features tobacco from Braganca,a remote region of the Amazon rainforest, taking up to six weeks to transport from the forest to the factory. This rare treat is a must try for every cigar aficionado.
The CAO Amazon Basin is a 6.0" x 52 Toro with a sumptuous Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan binder leaf. The organic Brazilian Braganca leaf is harvested only once every 3 years and is hand-carried from the field to the river and floated down on canoes to the factory where it eventually makes its way into the filler blend along with luscious Dominican and Colombian tobaccos.
The CAO Amazon Basin unfurls a complex array of dark cocoa, leather, wood, earth and spice flavors which are joined by touches of nuts and raisins with a solid note of pepper as the character develops from medium-bodied to full and cruises towards a prolifically gratifying finish.
As these treasures are extremely limited, do not hesitate to get your CAO Amazon Basin cigars which have a twisted tobacco leaf vein in place of a traditional cigar band. The CAO Amazon Basin is a true treasure to cherish for one and all.
