Discover the Chemex: A Classic Pour-Over Brewer
The Chemex is an elegant and simple pour-over coffee brewer, celebrated for its ability to produce an exceptionally clean cup profile. It beautifully highlights the natural fruit notes and acidity in your coffee, offering a refined brewing experience.
A Timeless Design Beyond its brewing capabilities, the Chemex is a true classic piece of modern art. With over 70 years of history, its iconic design has earned a place in the permanent collections of the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and the Smithsonian Museum.
What’s Included in the Chemex Package This package provides everything needed for an exceptional coffee brewing experience:
-
Chemex 8-Cup Classic Brewer: Crafted from high-quality borosilicate glass, it features a stylish polished wood collar and leather tie, doubling as an insulated handle.
-
Specially Designed Chemex Filters: These thicker filters weigh 20-30% more than standard ones, effectively removing even the finest sediment particles and ensuring a clean, smooth cup.
Please note that fresh coffee is not included in the package but can be purchased separately to complete your setup.
Why Chemex Filters Matter A significant part of the Chemex’s exceptional brewing quality lies in its proprietary filters. Heavier than standard filters, they:
-
Remove even the finest sediment particles.
-
Slow the brewing process slightly, allowing for a balanced extraction.
For the best results, we recommend rinsing the filter thoroughly with hot water before brewing. This step eliminates any potential taste transfer, ensuring a pure coffee experience.
Eco-Friendly Brewing The Chemex filters are fully biodegradable and compostable. After use, they naturally break down, making them an environmentally responsible choice. Brew your coffee with confidence, knowing you’re making an eco-friendly decision.
Elevate your coffee brewing with the Chemex, where design meets performance.
