Cornell & Diehl Bourbon Bleu Pipe Tobacco (50g)
Part of Cornell & Diehl's respected Cellar Series, Bourbon Bleu takes its name from the iconic blue-shuttered streets of New Orleans' French Quarter and delivers a blend with just as much character. Bright and red Virginias are mixed with dark-fired Kentucky and long-cut Perique, then married with bourbon and pressed into an old-fashioned crumble cake. The result straight from the tin is warm, complex, and immediately inviting, with baked bread, honey-like sweetness, earthy spice, and a subtle smoky backbone from the Kentucky leaf.
What makes Bourbon Bleu genuinely special is that it's engineered to age. Cornell & Diehl estimates a peak of 10 to 15 years, meaning every tin you put away today is an investment in a future bowl that keeps getting better. For the pipe smoker who appreciates a well-constructed Virginia blend with real depth and a touch of American whiskey character, Bourbon Bleu is a tin worth stocking and a cellar staple worth coming back to.
