Crafted in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, Spain, Croft Original Fine Pale Cream Sherry is an iconic, world-renowned fortified wine that revolutionized the category upon its introduction in 1970. Blending the pale, delicate elegance of a dry Fino Sherry with the natural sweetness of unfermented grape must (concentrated rectified must), Croft Original pioneered the "Pale Cream" style. Made primarily from 100% Palomino grapes cultivated in chalky albariza soils, the wine ages under a delicate layer of flor yeast in American oak casks within a traditional solera system. The result is a uniquely refreshing, straw-gold Sherry that offers the crisp, nutty aromatics of Fino harmoniously balanced by a smooth, gently sweet palate. Unusually versatile, Croft Original is traditionally enjoyed well-chilled or over ice with a slice of orange.
Food Pairing: Serve chilled as an aperitif alongside salted almonds, olives, tapas, cured jamón Serrano, fresh fruit tarts, foie gras, and mild blue or cream cheeses.
