Privada Storytelling: A Grand Format for Grand Moments
The Davidoff Grand Cru Toro is an evolution of elegance in motion. While the Grand Cru line was originally crafted in smaller formats inspired by Bordeaux wine classifications, the Toro introduces a modern refinement to the family. Longer, thicker, and more developed across the palate, it brings depth and subtle complexity in a way few mild-medium cigars can.
Wrapped in golden Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, the cigar lights easily and burns with quiet precision. Dominican fillers—some aged up to five years—unfold creamy and nutty notes from the start, followed by a gentle floral lift and a touch of soft spice. The Toro format allows more airflow and flavor layering, revealing the full architecture of a classic Davidoff blend.
Flavor Journey:
-
First Third: Toasted almond, hay, and smooth cedar with delicate white pepper on the retrohale
-
Second Third: Creamy body develops with touches of honey, herbal tea, and floral character
-
Final Third: Earth and dry wood return with a quiet elegance and a clean finish
Perfectly balanced and remarkably composed, this is a cigar for those who don’t chase strength—but pursue flavor clarity and construction mastery.
Why It’s Privada-Worthy
At Privada, we don’t just search for boldness—we celebrate precision. The Grand Cru Toro is a masterclass in what happens when aged Dominican tobacco meets the world’s most elegant wrapper leaf. For those who want a bigger format without losing nuance, this is your answer.
It’s luxury in long form. A statement piece that doesn’t need to speak loudly to be heard.
