When AJ Fernandez unveiled the Diesel brand, a new cigar lover’s favorite was born. Every highly anticipated release since has taken its place amongst cigar legends. The Diesel Esteli Puro series is no exception, with the Diesel Esteli Puro Robusto delivering a Nicaraguan Puro experience like no other.
AJ Fernandez and his team use aged Nicaraguan Esteli Habano tobaccos harvested from Fernandez’s farms in Esteli to create the entirety of the Diesel Esteli Puro Robusto. The blend took three years to develop to find just the right combination of Esteli-grown binder, filler, and wrapper leaves. Their efforts are wondrously apparent in the 5 ¼” x 54 Robusto’s rich-tasting and complex character.
The Diesel Esteli Puro Robusto whips the tastebuds into a frenzy with the Diesel line’s trademark pepper and earth notes. At the same time, splashes of sweet cocoa, mixed nuts, spice, wood, and cream titillate throughout the medium-to-full bodied smoke. The smoke concludes with a rousing finish that is at once bold, long-lasting, and satisfying.
The Diesel Esteli Puro Robusto offers a tantalizing glimpse at the limitless possibilities of Esteli-grown tobacco when put into the capable hands of one of the cigar industry’s greats, AJ Fernandez. So, celebrate the Nica spirit and pair this Nicaraguan Puro with richly structured red wine or your favorite bourbon.
