Don Julio Blanco Tequila is a premium, luxury silver tequila that serves as the foundation for all of Don Julio's expressions. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the mineral-rich, red clay soils of the Jalisco Highlands (Los Altos), the agave is slow-roasted in traditional masonry ovens for 72 hours before being double-distilled. Unaged and bottled immediately, it captures the raw, pure essence of the agave plant, delivering a crisp, bright, and citrus-forward profile that helped set the benchmark for the ultra-premium blanco tequila category.
Food Pairing: Fresh fish ceviche, grilled shrimp tacos, guacamole with lime-salted tortilla chips, fresh oysters, and light, zesty citrus salads.
Tasting Notes : Crystal clear and brilliant in appearance, offering a remarkably crisp, light, and pristine mouthfeel.
Nose : Bright and highly aromatic, leading with crisp, fresh cooked agave, vibrant citrus notes of lemon, lime, and grapefruit, along with subtle floral and sweet herbal undertones.
Palate : Smooth, fresh, and naturally sweet. A clean wave of pure agave and bright citrus zest is beautifully balanced by a gentle, earthy minerality and a touch of light black pepper.
Finish : Crisp, whistle-clean, and refreshing, fading elegantly with lingering notes of grassy agave, bright citrus, and a gentle peppery warmth.
Serve : Serve neat or on the rocks in a traditional copita glass, or use it to elevate classic premium cocktails like a traditional Margarita, a Tommy's Margarita, or a refreshing Paloma.
