Privada Storytelling
Don Toirac is not your typical figure in the cigar world. He’s an artist, an entrepreneur, a man whose creativity and positivity carry as much weight as his family’s deep history in tobacco. A close friend of Eladio Diaz, Toirac has carved a path that merges tradition with fresh energy. When he learned that his cigars would be featured in Privada, he didn’t just nod in gratitude—he called and wrote multiple times to say thank you. That kind of passion resonates with us, and it’s the same passion that lives inside this cigar.
Made entirely of Dominican tobaccos, with leaves from legendary growers like Leo Reyes and the Kelners, this cigar is as much a work of art as it is a smoke. It’s a tribute to Dominican heritage, crafted with nuance and character, and designed for those quiet moments when you lean back, take a breath, and remind yourself that—even in the madness of the world—life is still good.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with milk chocolate, cedar, candied ginger, and pink pepper. Sweet, earthy, and herby smoke with a creamy, powdery texture. Retrohale adds depth with a satisfying peppery zing.
-
Second Third: Lemon zest brightens the profile, blending with oregano-like herbs and fresh wood notes that evoke a bourbon barrel. White pepper sharpens the retrohale while phantom flavors of grape and dried fruit appear.
-
Final Third: Black tea with honey and lemon dominates the profile, layered with earthiness, cedar, and oak. White pepper lingers with herbs returning in full, leading to a sweet tea-and-lemon finale.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada is about more than cigars—it’s about people, their stories, and their passion. Don Toirac embodies all of this. His cigar isn’t just Dominican tobacco rolled with skill; it’s the spirit of gratitude, creativity, and artistry. This release strengthens the bridge between the past and present of Dominican cigar-making, offering our members an authentic experience rooted in heritage and individuality.
