A smooth, decaffeinated medium‑roast ground coffee flavored with cinnamon and hazelnut, packaged in a 10 oz bag for roughly seven drip‑brew pots.
Door County Coffee & Tea Co.'s Cinnamon Hazelnut DECAF blends Specialty Class 1 Arabica beans with chef‑inspired flavoring to deliver cozy spice and nutty warmth without the caffeine kick. The beans are air‑roasted in small batches in Door County, Wisconsin, and ground to suit drip machines, French press, and cold brew, making this a flexible option when you want dessert‑like flavor any time of day.
What does the flavor profile taste like?
This decaf combines aromatic cinnamon with roasted hazelnut notes on a medium‑roast base, giving a balanced sweetness and a smooth finish. The profile leans dessert‑inspired but remains restrained so it works well black or with milk.
- Top notes: warm cinnamon spice
- Mid notes: toasted hazelnut and brown sugar hints
- Finish: smooth, low bitterness typical of medium roast
- Pairing: excellent with pastries or creamy milk bases
How is the coffee sourced and roasted?
Only Specialty Class 1 Arabica beans—within the top two percent globally—are used, ensuring cleaner origin flavor and consistency. Roasting occurs in a fluidized air bed roaster that lifts and circulates beans in hot air so they roast evenly and predictably in small, family‑run batches.
- Bean class: Specialty Class 1 Arabica
- Roast style: medium, air‑roasted for uniformity
- Origin: small‑batch roasting in Door County, Wisconsin
- Quality control: consistent roast profile each batch
Is this decaf suitable for different brewing methods?
The grounds are milled to a medium texture that performs well across common home methods—drip brewers, French press, and cold brew. That versatility means you can keep the same flavored decaf on hand for multiple brewing preferences.
- Drip machines: optimized grind for even extraction
- French press: full‑flavored immersion capability
- Cold brew: makes smooth, lower‑acidity cold concentrates
- Storage: resealable bag keeps flavor longer between uses
Does it fit specific diets or ingredient needs?
The flavored decaf contains zero grams of sugar, fat, and carbohydrates per typical serving and contains no dairy or gluten ingredients from the coffee itself. This makes it compatible with keto and many other low‑sugar or allergen‑aware lifestyles, though added milk or sweeteners will change nutritional content.
- Nutrition: 0g sugar, fat, and carbs per 6 oz serving (black)
- Allergens: coffee and natural flavoring only—no dairy or gluten added
- Diet fit: keto friendly when consumed black
- Label note: check packaging for any flavoring ingredient updates
