Elizabeth Rose Cabernet Sauvignon is an approachable, beautifully crafted, and vibrant expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced by the family-owned Ghost Block Wines, this wine is meticulously crafted by winemaker Jeff Onysko from certified-organic fruit sourced primarily from the renowned Block House and Mill Race vineyards. In the glass, it displays a brilliant ruby red hue, opening with inviting, expressive aromas of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, and dark cherries, elegantly layered with subtle notes of cedar, cocoa, and toasted vanilla. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, lush, and incredibly balanced, delivering a generous core of fleshy dark fruits and warm baking spices. These vibrant flavors are seamlessly supported by smooth, rounded tannins and a lively, refreshing acidity, culminating in a polished, crowd-pleasing finish lingering with gentle oak spice.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye steaks, rosemary-roasted rack of lamb, braised beef short ribs, hearty mushroom-based dishes, and mature aged cheeses like cheddar.
