The Eureka Perfect Flat Tamper creates a perfectly perpendicular, level tamp from shot to shot. The 58mm stainless steel base is paired with a 30lb spring mechanism that delivers consistent tamping pressure every time, while the tamper plate rests directly on the rim of the portafilter.
The black anodized aluminium handle is shaped for comfortable, natural use, making the tamping process as easy on the hand as it is on the puck. Consistent pressure and a level tamp mean more even extraction and fewer channeling issues in the cup. Sleek, branded, and purpose-built to complement any Eureka grinder setup.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About the Eureka Perfect Flat Tamper 58mm
How does the spring mechanism work?
The spring mechanism inside the tamper applies consistent downward pressure as you tamp, so every puck receives even force.
How does the tamper ensure a perpendicular tamp?
The tamper plate is designed to rest on the rim of the portafilter during tamping. This guides the base into a perfectly level, perpendicular position so the puck is compressed evenly every time.
What portafilter size does this tamper fit?
The Eureka Perfect Flat Tamper is designed for 58mm portafilters.
What materials is the tamper made from?
The base is 58mm stainless steel and the handle is black anodized aluminium.
How does consistent tamping reduce channeling?
An uneven or angled tamp creates weak spots in the coffee puck where water finds the path of least resistance, causing channeling and uneven extraction. A flat, consistent tamp compresses the puck evenly, giving water nowhere to channel through.
