Fifth Note Cellars blends are crafted from specific varietals and regions to enhance the flavors, spices, sauces, and herbs in your favorite recipe or next meal. Barbera from the sandy soils of Lodi has a refreshing acidity, cranberry, and black cherry. Grenache from high elevation old vines in the Sierra Foothills produces small concentrated bunches of expressive, spicy, textural Grenache. Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley and Paso Robles tie these varieties together and provide richness. It feels like an Old World wine. We call it power and poise in a glass. See the back label for more detailed pairings. Judges love it too! It has taken home a Silver medal from the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge.
