The Olmec Maduro Robusto from Foundation Cigars delivers a rich, complex smoking experience inspired by one of the earliest great civilizations of the Americas. Named after the ancient Olmecs, who thrived in what is now Veracruz and Tabasco, this cigar pays tribute to the birthplace of North American tobacco culture. Wrapped in a deeply fermented San Andrés Mexican Maduro leaf, the Robusto provides bold layers of dark chocolate, espresso, earth, and pepper, supported by aged Nicaraguan fillers for a dense, flavorful profile.
Foundation Cigar Company, led by master blender Nicholas Melillo, has become known for its deep respect for cultural history and its commitment to premium, artisanal cigar craftsmanship. The Olmec line reflects this philosophy perfectly—honoring ancient tobacco traditions while delivering modern richness and balance. Every leaf in the Robusto has been aged for a minimum of three years and hand-crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
This compact 5 x 50 format amplifies the blend’s boldness while maintaining exceptional smoothness. A cool, controlled burn reveals evolving notes of molasses, baking spice, and roasted nuts, all wrapped in a creamy Maduro finish that lingers on the palate. The construction is top-tier, producing thick, fragrant smoke clouds and a clean burn line from first draw to final puff.
For smokers who appreciate history, craftsmanship, and stout flavor, the Olmec Maduro Robusto is a standout choice—a fusion of ancient legacy and modern cigar mastery, perfectly sized for rewarding, full-bodied enjoyment any time of day.
