Privada Storytelling
Half Bird bridges worlds—the light and the dark, the bold and the balanced. Released in December 2024 via LCA, this Toro uses Broadleaf’s rich darkness framed by a structured Nicaraguan core. It’s a smoke that exists in contrast, meant for moments that need grounding without surrendering elegance. In Privada, we value nuance—Half Bird lives between extremes and thrives there.
Flavor Journey
The cigar opens with a deep rush of dark cocoa and aged leather, immediately grounded by smooth espresso and sweet molasses. As it develops, cedar and subtle black pepper emerge, weaving through layers of toasted walnut and dried stone fruit that soften the Maduro’s boldness. In the final third, the flavors anchor into a harmonious finish of molasses sweetness, walnut creaminess, and a touch of lingering spice. The overall arc is balanced and elegant, with each stage flowing naturally into the next.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because Half Bird embodies duality—strength tempered by refinement, power softened by sweetness. It speaks to the Privada ethos: complexity without chaos. Rolled by Fonseca and released with the LCA’s intent, this cigar delivers character for those who appreciate depth and balance. It’s a centerpiece for contemplative sessions, not just quick satisfactions.
