Privada Storytelling
The Incarcerated Scarface is more than a cigar—it’s an homage to timeless grit, sonic legends, and the purple cassette tape that defined an era of hip-hop greatness. Inspired by Raekwon and Ghostface Killah’s masterpiece, this cigar brings that same rawness and poetry into tobacco form. Rolled at IGM Cigars in Costa Rica, the same house responsible for the revered Cuban Link, it stands as proof that when culture meets craft, the result is unforgettable.
Aged over 5 years, the blend has settled into a rare balance of strength and smoothness, much like the iconic verses that still echo decades later. This cigar isn’t about flashy branding or gimmicks—it’s about respecting legacy, paying tribute, and savoring a smoke that carries the spirit of resilience and artistry.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with earth, cedar, and cocoa, layered over subtle leather and toasted spice. The smoke is velvety yet bold, offering the kind of grit that keeps you locked in from the very first draw.
As the second third develops, the profile evolves into baking spices, cinnamon, and nutmeg, met with a subtle sweetness reminiscent of dried figs. A citrus zest lingers on the finish, keeping the palate alive and engaged.
In the final third, the cigar deepens into aged wood, espresso, and dark chocolate, all underscored by a steady hum of pepper and mineral richness. The balance of strength and nuance makes every puff a reminder of its long, patient aging.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Like the album it honors, Incarcerated Scarface is a landmark—bold, unapologetic, and rooted in authenticity. This is Privada at its finest: uncovering cigars that defy the ordinary, celebrate culture, and bring collectors a piece of history. With its Costa Rican craftsmanship, rare aging, and cultural tie-ins, it’s a cigar that will never be repeated, making it as collectible as it is smokeable.
