Introduction:
Innis & Gunn Caribbean Rum Cask is a bold and flavorful Scottish red beer, expertly aged in Caribbean rum casks for a unique fusion of rich malt character and warming spice. Formerly known as Blood Red Sky, this brew offers a seamless blend of Scotland’s brewing heritage and the Caribbean’s finest rum casks, creating a truly special and innovative flavor experience.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of oak-aged rum, vanilla, and caramelized sugar, with hints of dark fruit.
- Palate: A rich malt base enhanced by layers of fruit, rum, and chocolate, complemented by Innis & Gunn Ale Malt, Chocolate Malt, and Roasted Barley. Toffee and warming spice round out the depth of flavor.
- Finish: Smooth and lingering, with mellow warmth from the rum casks and a touch of sweet vanilla.
