From a great vintage in one of the best-regarded vineyards in Beaune, the Greves from Jadot is a superb red Burgundy. Greves means sand or fine gravel, these free-draining and limey soils generating the depth and roundness of this impressive but approachable Pinot Noir. South-easterly sun but cool nights bring almost candied ripeness to delicate dark and red fruit, along with freshness and herbal, mineral tension. Charm and value from a great site for the price.
