Jake Wyatt cigars set a new standard in the world of premium smokes, embodying the perfect blend of balance, nuance, and smoothness. Born from the passion and expertise of founders Neil Garcia and Gerard Abajian, this brand, established in 2022, has quickly made a name for itself. Handcrafted at the esteemed Tabacalera JVM in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, each Jake Wyatt cigar is a testament to the artistry of fine tobacco blending, often featuring subtle barber pole accents that enhance its visual appeal.
The Appendix II cigar is a standout in Jake Wyatt's core lineup, drawing inspiration from the brand's Herbert Spencer series. This blend pays homage to the 19th-century philosopher Herbert Spencer, encapsulating his famous insight: "There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance. This principle is, contempt prior to examination." The Appendix II is a reminder that true appreciation comes from experience, not assumption.
Meticulously crafted, this cigar features a rich Dominican binder and fillers, enveloped in a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, with a touch of Mexican San Andrés Maduro leaf at the foot and cap. The result is a mild-bodied smoke that is creamy and refined, delivering a balanced and nuanced flavor profile that perfectly reflects the philosophy behind the Jake Wyatt brand.
