Size: 6 x 50
Vitola: Toro
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano
Binder: Nicaraguan
Fillers: Nicaraguan
Flavor Notes: Leather, cedar, baking spices, black coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon zest
Pairing Notes: Black coffee, espresso, bourbon, dark spirits
Manufacturer: AJ Fernandez for Privada Cigar Club
The Not Ron is a full body, medium to full strength Nicaraguan puro built for smokers who want richness with real transitions. The cold draw delivers creamy tobacco, chocolate, and hay before ignition. Once lit, the cigar opens with leather, cedar, baking spices, and AJ’s signature pepper on the palate and retrohale.
The second third deepens into black coffee, leather, cinnamon, and nutmeg with the pepper smoothing into the background. The final third lifts unexpectedly with lemon zest brightening the finish while coffee and spice return to full intensity.
Perfect construction, thick smoke, long ash, and no touch ups make The Not Ron a reliable powerhouse built for enthusiasts who appreciate a cigar that evolves.
Transition
Where The Not Ron brings strength, spice, and traditional Nicaraguan boldness,
Golden Connecticut enters from the opposite end of the spectrum — refined, calm, and aged to perfection.
Placed together, they create a balanced offering: one cigar for fire and depth, the other for clarity and ease.

Manufacturer: AJ Fernandez Tabacalera Annex aged 5 years
Golden Connecticut is a five-year aged shade cigar built for smooth, slow, elevated smoking. Crafted at AJ’s Tabacalera Annex, it shows how Connecticut can be creamy and nuanced without losing character. From the first draw, cream and cedar glide across the palate, supported by toasted grain and almond.
As it warms, subtle white pepper and earth develop while a quiet sweetness rounds the profile. The extra years of aging soften the edges and unify the blend into a balanced, elegant progression. This cigar shines in the morning, excels in the afternoon, and pairs with almost anything light and refreshing.
Golden Connecticut is refinement defined — a calm, confident counterpoint to The Not Ron.
