Originally rolled in 1900, J.C. Newman Sarzedas was once celebrated as “The Aromatic Cigar.” Now, 125 years later, this historic brand returns, reimagined for modern palates while honoring its legacy. Reintroduced at the Premium Cigar Association Trade Show in New Orleans, the new Sarzedas is handcrafted at J.C. Newman’s PENSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Blended by Rich Dolak, J.C. Newman’s longtime Vice President of Operations with nearly three decades of blending experience, Sarzedas is designed to be the most flavorful cigar J.C. Newman has ever produced. The blend showcases a silky Ecuadorian Shade wrapper over Dominican and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, delivering a smooth, aromatic, and approachable profile.
Fun, expressive, and richly aromatic, Sarzedas is a tribute to heritage craftsmanship: crafted for today’s smokers, yet rooted firmly in cigar history.
