Jefferson's Very Small Batch Bourbon is crafted in ridiculously small batches by marrying up to four different Kentucky straight bourbon whiskeys of varying ages. This meticulous blending approach delivers exceptional complexity and balance while maintaining the consistency that bourbon lovers expect, with one of the component whiskeys comprising at least 55% of the total blend.
Created to be big enough for the bourbon connoisseur yet approachable for those just entering the premium bourbon category, Jefferson's Very Small Batch strikes the perfect balance. The small-batch process allows for careful selection and blending of barrels, resulting in a bourbon with layers of flavor that showcase the best characteristics of each component whiskey.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Caramel, vanilla, and honey with hints of dried fruit, baking spices, and oak
- Palate: Smooth and balanced with notes of toffee, butterscotch, cinnamon, sweet corn, and toasted oak
- Finish: Medium-length and warming with lingering caramel, vanilla, and gentle spice
Perfect for bourbon enthusiasts seeking quality and complexity at an approachable price point. Excellent in classic cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Manhattans, yet smooth enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks. A versatile, well-crafted bourbon from Jefferson's core lineup.
