Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Bourbon Barrel Aged Reserve delivers a bold and indulgent red wine experience with layered richness and a distinctive finishing touch. Winemakers age the Cabernet in bourbon barrels to enhance its depth, bringing forward intense notes of blackberry, black cherry, and plum, wrapped in warm accents of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and subtle spice. It offers a full-bodied palate with smooth, rounded tannins and a long, slightly smoky-sweet finish that pairs beautifully with grilled steak, barbecue ribs, burgers, and hearty pasta dishes. Each glass feels rich, expressive, and warmly structured.
This bourbon barrel-aged reserve stands out for its added complexity and dessert-like warmth compared to the classic Cabernet, appealing to those who enjoy bold reds with a sweet, oaky twist. It balances ripe dark fruit with bourbon-influenced richness, creating a more layered and distinctive drinking experience while remaining easy to enjoy. Whether shared at a dinner table or savoured slowly on its own, it consistently delivers depth, character, and modern California winemaking style.
