Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey 70cl
Crafted in Kentucky and bottled at a robust 50% ABV, Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey delivers a bold interpretation of traditional American rye. Produced by the James B. Beam Distilling Company, this award-winning whiskey balances classic rye spice with a sweeter, richer character thanks to its high-corn mash bill and extended maturation in deeply charred new American oak barrels. Aged for around seven years, it offers impressive depth while remaining approachable and versatile.
Rich and full-flavoured, Knob Creek Rye bridges the gap between spicy rye whiskey and classic Kentucky bourbon, making it equally enjoyable neat or in cocktails.
- The nose opens with aromas of caramel, vanilla and oak spice, alongside notes of ginger, herbs and rye grain.
- The palate is full-bodied and smooth, revealing layers of brown sugar, vanilla, peppery rye spice and toasted oak.
- The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of white pepper, oak spice and sweet vanilla.
A superb introduction to premium American rye whiskey and an excellent choice for classic whiskey cocktails.
