Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle N°27 is a prestigious non-vintage cuvée from the Champagne region of France. The Champagne house was founded in 1812 by André-Michel Pierlot in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne. Laurent-Perrier's philosophy, notably shaped by Bernard de Nonancourt, is built on an innovative spirit, which led to the creation of Grand Siècle with the ambition of 'recreating the perfect year' in every iteration by blending three exceptional vintages.
Wine Description
Grand Siècle N°27 is a blend of Chardonnay (in the majority) and Pinot Noir, sourced exclusively from a maximum of 11 of Champagne's Grands Crus. The wine presents an intense and deeply coloured appearance, dominated by gold and platinum shades.
The complex nose blends aromas of honeysuckle, candied lemon, hazelnut, and fresh almond, followed by notes of pastry, honey, and roasted tones. On the palate, the attack is fresh and vibrant, confirming the aromatic impressions with flavours of ripe fruit, dried apricot, and candied citrus. The Grand Siècle is known for its exquisite balance, silky texture, and delicate bubbles, leading to a long, harmonious finish with refined minerality and vitality. The house aims for a wine that has deep complexity and intensity while maintaining freshness and acidity. The wine has an exceptional aging potential, being a wine that is impressive today but can develop gracefully for many years. The wine is not specifically indicated as organic.

Food Pairing
The wine’s freshness, elegance, and purity make it a versatile pairing for fine cuisine. Grand Siècle N°27 is a true wine for the table. It pairs well with delicate and tender textures such as shellfish, noble fish, poultry, and veal fillet. Its complex profile also matches well with sophisticated fish dishes, perhaps with a rich sauce. A perfect match to enhance the wine’s complexity.
