Lonetree Authentic Dry Cider is the flagship offering from British Columbia’s Lonetree Cider Co., a producer dedicated to honoring the heritage of the Okanagan Valley. Using only 100% BC-grown apples, this cider is crafted to represent the "Old World" style moving away from the syrupy, sugar laden profiles of commercial ciders. It is designed to be a sophisticated, crisp, and natural alternative that highlights the pure character of the fruit.
Cider Description
This cider is brilliantly clear with a very pale straw color and a light, sparkling effervescence that persists in the glass.
Aroma: It features a clean and bright bouquet of fresh-pressed green apples, with subtle floral notes and a hint of earthy skin, lacking any artificial or candy-like scents.
Palate: On the tongue, it is remarkably crisp and light-bodied. It delivers a sharp, refreshing apple tartness followed by a bone-dry finish. The absence of heavy sugar allows the natural acidity of the apples to cleanse the palate.
Profile: It has an ABV of 5.5% and is fermented to be fully dry, making it a highly sessionable and gluten-free choice for those who prefer a more fermented, wine-like character.
Technical Notes: Crafted using a specific blend of culinary apples and traditional cider varieties sourced from Okanagan orchards. It is cold-fermented to preserve the delicate aromatics of the fruit and contains no artificial flavors or colors.
