The Short Robusto vitola earned a hearty 90 point rating from Cigar Aficionado.
The Luciano Mas Igneus is a bold, refined cigar that embodies the spirit of volcanic terroir, meticulous blending, and modern boutique artistry. Inspired by the ancient phrase Mas Igneus—meaning more fire—this premium release from Luciano Cigars pays tribute to the elemental power of the earth and the passion that drives true craftsmanship.
Handcrafted at the respected Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua, Mas Igneus is blended by master blender Luciano Meirelles to deliver a medium-to-full-bodied profile that’s rich, balanced, and deeply flavorful. This masterpiece features an exquisite Ecuadorian Corojo 98 wrapper, draped over a hearty Brazilian binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers, sourced from the fertile volcanic soils of Estelí and Jalapa.
Expect a complex journey of flavor with each draw: robust notes of dark cocoa, roasted coffee, earthy spice, cedar, and a hint of sweet pepper, all delivered through a flawless burn and draw that define Luciano’s dedication to the boutique craft.
“Blending a cigar and winemaking are independently captivating processes, but to work jointly on this, it’s simply been a remarkable journey; searching for a balanced pH in the combined leaves was an interesting journey to say the least.” - Luciano Meirelles
