The Martinelli Family has been cultivating grapes and producing wine in the Russian River Valley since the late 1880s. The winery is dedicated to creating limited-production wines by carefully hand-farming each vineyard to produce only the highest quality fruit. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on reflecting the unique terroir of the Sonoma Coast vineyards while maintaining a sense of consistency across vintages.
Wine Description
This wine is crafted from 100% Chardonnay. On the nose, one finds inviting aromas of golden apple, fresh lemon juice, and graham cracker. It is vibrant upon entry with flavours of lemon and pear. The wine has a bright acid feeling on the palate, leading to a citrus-splashed and refreshing finish. Stylistically, the wine is balanced and refreshing.
Food Pairing
Suggested pairings include seafood dishes, roasted poultry, and creamy pastas. The versatility of Sonoma Coast Chardonnay also makes it a great match for pork, vegetarian dishes, and soft cheese.
