Martinelli Giuseppe & Luisa Zinfandel is an extraordinary ultra-premium Russian River Valley Zinfandel crafted by the iconic fifth-generation Martinelli family, paying tribute to Giuseppe and Luisa Martinelli, who began the family’s Sonoma winemaking legacy in the 1880s. Sourced from the Giuseppe & Luisa vineyard planted with cuttings from the legendary Jackass Hill vines, this powerful yet beautifully balanced Zinfandel reveals intense layers of black cherry, Santa Rosa plum, blackberry preserves, baking spice, cocoa, vanilla, licorice, and subtle floral undertones. Full-bodied with plush texture, vibrant acidity, and remarkable concentration, this is a serious collector-worthy California Zinfandel with exceptional pedigree.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, grilled lamb chops, pepper-crusted steak, braised short ribs, aged cheddar, spicy sausage, and rich comfort cuisine.
