Meletti Limoncello Liqueur
The Meletti Family has been producing extraordinary hand crafted cordials for generations. Silvio Meletti started the company in 1870 when he endeavoured to produce an anise-flavoured liqueur that would rival or surpass the best products of Italy and France.
Lemon trees have been grown on the Amalfi coast since 200AD, and the Meletti family selects the finest Sorrento lemons. They offer a low acidity and thick skin. Ageing for 3 months to enhance its rich body and aroma of this Limoncello.
- Meletti Limoncello Liqueur has a bold, sweet anise flavour. Smooth, liquorice-like taste, rich and aromatic.
- Light herbal notes add depth, giving the liqueur a more complex, balanced profile.
- The texture is velvety and smooth, making each sip a pleasant, warming experience.
- The bright citrusy sweetness of lemon sorbet compliments the herbal and anise flavours of the liqueur.
The rich, savoury flavour of grilled pork belly contrasts beautifully with the sweet and herbal notes of Meletti Anisetta, making for a flavourful pairing.
