Meroi Vigna Dominin Refosco 2022 is a profound single-vineyard expression of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso from the renowned Dominin cru in Friuli Colli Orientali. Deep ruby in color, it reveals complex aromas of wild berries, toasted hazelnut, leather, cocoa, dark cherry, and subtle spice. The palate is powerful yet refined, delivering concentrated layers of black fruit, earth, and savory notes supported by velvety tannins and vibrant acidity. Extended aging in French oak adds depth and structure while preserving elegance and freshness. The finish is long, expressive, and mineral-driven with lingering notes of cocoa, spice, and ripe berries.
Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye, braised beef, venison, wild mushroom risotto, aged cheeses, or hearty game dishes.
