La Laguneta is a Guatemalan farm in Acatenango, where volcanic soils support Bourbon, Catuai and Caturra alongside newer varieties. Hector Ricardo Leal Pivaral purchased the largely abandoned property in 2013 and has since invested in replanting, restoring the land and rebuilding its coffee production.
Raised African beds and greenhouse drying help the farm manage drying conditions and protect quality from harvest to harvest. This washed lot shows its comforting side, bringing chocolate, almond and caramel together in a smooth, gently sweet profile. The filter version sits within Monogram's Chocolatey Comforts range, making it an inviting choice for those who favour familiar flavours, balance and a clear sense of the farm behind their coffee.
