Old Irving Brewing's Sonne Lager is a traditional German-style Helles brewed with premium Pilsner malt, a touch of Vienna malt, and delicately balanced with classic Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Tettnang noble hops. Pouring a brilliant golden color with exceptional clarity, it delivers inviting aromas of fresh bread crust, light biscuit, and subtle herbal spice. The flavor is smooth and clean, featuring soft malt sweetness complemented by gentle floral and earthy hop notes before finishing crisp and refreshing.
At 5.3% ABV, Sonne is an easy-drinking yet flavorful lager that showcases Old Irving Brewing's commitment to classic European brewing traditions. Its quality earned it an impressive 94-point rating from Wine Enthusiast in 2022, making it an outstanding choice for fans of refined, balanced lagers.
