Paramount Roasters Traverse City Cherry flavored medium-roast ground coffee is a 12 oz bag of Arabica beans roasted to highlight a bright cherry-infused taste for daily brewing.
Paramount Roasters blends carefully selected Arabica beans with a Traverse City Cherry flavoring to produce a medium-roast ground coffee that balances classic coffee notes with fruit-forward sweetness. Packaged in a 12-ounce bag, this blend is intended for home brewing methods that favor clarity and aroma, from drip machines to pour-over brews. Paramount Roasters builds on a long roasting tradition dating back to 1935 and sources beans inspected for size, color, and texture to ensure a consistent cup.
What flavor profile should I expect from this cherry-flavored medium roast?
This coffee presents a medium roast body with a prominent cherry-infused aroma and a gentle fruit sweetness that complements the natural Arabica character. Acidity is balanced so the cherry notes remain noticeable without overpowering the roast's caramel and nutty undertones.
- Dominant cherry fruit notes with subtle caramel and nutty midtones
- Medium roast brings moderate body and balanced acidity
- Arabica beans deliver smoother, cleaner cup quality
- Ground for convenient home brewing across methods
How should I brew Paramount Traverse City Cherry for best results?
For clarity and to highlight the cherry accent, use a pour-over or drip coffee maker with a medium grind setting and fresh filtered water at about 195–205°F. Measure coffee to taste—commonly 1 to 2 tablespoons per 6 ounces—and adjust grind or dose to control extraction and fruit intensity.
- Recommended grind: medium for drip, slightly coarser for pour-over filters
- Water temperature: 195–205°F for optimal extraction
- Standard ratio: 1–2 tablespoons per 6 fl oz; adjust to preference
- Try cold brew for a smoother, subdued cherry sweetness
What makes this coffee different from other flavored coffees?
Paramount Roasters uses premium Arabica beans as the base, which provides a cleaner canvas for the cherry flavoring to shine. Combined with the company’s decades of roasting experience and a careful bean inspection process, the result is a flavored coffee that aims for balance rather than masking the coffee's natural character.
- Arabica-only base for smoother, more nuanced taste
- Roaster expertise since 1935 ensures consistent roast profiles
- Beans inspected for size, color, and texture before blending
- 12 oz bag size suits regular home consumption and freshness
How long will the 12 oz bag stay fresh and how should I store it?
Ground coffee loses volatile aromatics faster than whole bean, so consume the 12 oz bag within a few weeks of opening for the best cherry aroma. Store the bag in a cool, dark place and reseal or transfer to an airtight container to slow staling.
- Consume within 2–4 weeks after opening for peak flavor
- Keep in an airtight container away from heat and light
- Avoid refrigerating to prevent moisture and odor transfer
Who is this blend for? This Traverse City Cherry flavored medium roast ground coffee suits anyone who enjoys a fruit-forward cup without sacrificing the smoothness of high-quality Arabica. It’s ideal for home brewers seeking a flavored coffee that remains balanced and approachable—great as a daily sweetened treat, for experimenting with coffee cocktails, or serving guests looking for something a little different from classic roasts.
