VELO Purple Grape pouches pack a proper punch of dark grape flavour that doesn't mess about. These slim, all-white pouches from BAT deliver 10mg of nicotine per portion - that's roughly 14mg/g if you're counting. Each pack contains 20 pouches, which is pretty standard for the VELO range.
The grape taste is genuinely bold rather than that artificial sweetness you get with some brands. It's more like proper dark grapes than the sugary stuff, though it can be a bit intense if you're not expecting it. The flavour holds well throughout use, which isn't always the case with fruit-flavoured pouches.
Being tobacco-free means no staining and no spitting required. The slim format fits comfortably under your lip without that obvious bulge - handy for meetings or public transport where discretion matters.
Here's what works well: they're perfect for situations where smoking or vaping isn't an option. Airports, restaurants, the office - you get the idea. The 10mg strength hits that sweet spot for most users, though heavy smokers might find it a touch light initially.
One minor gripe - the pouches can feel slightly dry compared to some competitors, but this actually helps with the discrete factor. They don't produce excess saliva like wetter alternatives.
Each pouch delivers consistent nicotine satisfaction for about 30-45 minutes, making them cost-effective for regular use.
