A Nicaraguan Puro with a Cuban Seed, Shade grown Wrapper from Jalapa, Nicaragua. A smooth full flavored smoke that offers the smoker rich coffee notes balanced by a cedary sweetness and a hint of raisins
2018's No. 1 Cigar of the Year from Cigar Aficionado!
Earning the No. 1 Cigar of the Year from Cigar Aficionado in 2018 is not a small achievement — in a market producing tens of thousands of blends annually, the Casa Magna Colorado stood above every other cigar that year based on quality, consistency, and flavor complexity. The Jalapa shade-grown wrapper is the defining component: grown in one of Nicaragua's finest tobacco valleys, shade cultivation produces a leaf with finer texture, more even burn characteristics, and a subtler, more nuanced flavor contribution than sun-grown alternatives. The Quesada family has been producing premium cigars for generations, and the Casa Magna Colorado represents their finest Nicaraguan puro expression. A must-smoke for any aficionado building a serious knowledge of Nicaraguan tobacco.
