Profile: Full
The Rocky Patel Edge Corojo Torpedo (6×52) remains one of the most iconic full-bodied cigars of the past two decades. First released in 2004, it immediately set a new standard for strength, value, and consistency. Today it continues to rank among the bestselling premium cigars in the United States.
Handcrafted by the Plasencia family at El Paraiso in Honduras, this bold blend features Honduran and Nicaraguan long fillers aged to perfection. A sturdy Nicaraguan binder secures the core, while a pristine Honduran-grown Cuban-seed Corojo wrapper delivers that signature spice and edge that made this line famous.
From the first draw, The Edge Corojo Torpedo unleashes a full-bodied wave of spice, leather, espresso, wood, and dark chocolate, all finishing with a creamy sweetness that lingers long after each puff. Strength is assertive but never harsh, offering a balanced and controlled power that showcases both Rocky Patel’s blending expertise and Plasencia’s craftsmanship.
The Edge Corojo’s cult following is well-earned: complex, bold, and remarkably smooth, it remains a must-smoke for aficionados who crave rich flavor and unapologetic strength.
