Smokeye Hill Bourbon Barrel Proof is a bold, uncut expression that delivers the full, unadulterated character straight from the barrel. Bottled at barrel proof without chill filtration or dilution, each batch is a true reflection of the whiskey's natural intensity — raw, powerful, and deeply expressive.
Named after the rugged Smoky Hill River region, this bourbon carries the spirit of the American frontier in every drop. The high-proof bottling preserves every nuance developed during maturation, from the deep interaction with charred American oak to the concentrated sugars and spice that only time and wood can create.
On the nose, expect an assertive rush of caramel, dark cherry, and toasted oak, with undercurrents of vanilla and baking spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied — layers of brown sugar, dried fruit, leather, and a peppery rye-like heat that builds beautifully. The finish is long, warming, and satisfying, with lingering notes of charred wood and sweet toffee.
Please note: Batch varies — proof and flavor profile may differ slightly between releases. The image shown may not reflect the exact proof of the current batch.
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the complex aromatics. A must-have for barrel proof enthusiasts and collectors seeking an authentic, high-intensity bourbon experience.
