St. George Dry Rye Gin hails from Alameda, California, where it's crafted by St. George Spirits, renowned for its innovative approach to distillation. This gin offers a unique twist by incorporating rye in its base, resulting in a flavor profile that stands out in the crowded gin market.
On the palate, St. George Dry Rye Gin delivers a robust and spicy character, courtesy of the rye grains. Its nose exudes a delightful blend of botanicals, with juniper taking the lead alongside subtle hints of citrus and earthy spices. The botanical bill includes juniper berries, black peppercorn, caraway, and coriander, among others, contributing to its complex yet balanced aroma and taste.
With an alcohol content typical of gin, usually around 45% ABV, St. George Dry Rye Gin is best enjoyed in classic gin cocktails like the Negroni or a refreshing Gin and Tonic. Its distinct flavor profile also makes it a standout choice for those looking to explore new dimensions in gin-based mixology. Whether sipped neat or mixed into a cocktail, this gin promises a memorable drinking experience for enthusiasts seeking something beyond the ordinary.
