Profile: Full
Pete Johnson's Tatuaje is one of the most iconic independent cigar brands in America, built on a foundation of Pete's relentless obsession with Nicaraguan tobacco and his longstanding partnership with the Garcia family at My Father Cigars S.A. Since launching in 2003, Tatuaje has become synonymous with bold, complex, full bodied puros that consistently punch above their price point and reward those willing to age them. The Monster Series, a collection of Halloween themed limited releases, has become one of the most anticipated annual events in the premium cigar world.
The Creature first appeared in the Monster Mash sampler in 2021 and later resurfaced in the Monster Smash sampler in 2024, but it has never been offered in its full size expression until now. This long awaited release arrives as a striking 6⅞ x 52 Perfecto, handcrafted entirely from Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos. The larger format allows the blend to fully reveal its character through a longer, more dynamic smoking experience, showcasing the depth, richness, and unmistakable Nicaraguan identity that Monster Series fans have come to love.
Expect notes of dark earth, leather, roasted espresso, black pepper, cedar, and subtle natural sweetness, all building toward a bold and satisfying finish. Powerful yet balanced, The Creature delivers the complexity and intensity worthy of its legendary reputation.
Presented in 10 count coffin shaped boxes, a presentation befitting the Monster Series, The Creature is limited to just 7,000 boxes worldwide and allocated exclusively to qualifying retailers. For collectors and devoted Tatuaje enthusiasts, this represents the first and only opportunity to experience The Creature in its intended full size format. Miss this one and you'll be waiting for the samplers.
