The Bitter Truth Chocolate Bitters (200 mL) are modern aromatic cocktail bitters made in Germany with real cacao nibs, natural herbs, and spices. The concentrated formula combines a chocolate-forward profile with the dry structure of classic European bitters, giving bartenders and home mixologists a precise way to deepen spirit-forward drinks.
The nose brings cocoa butter and dark chocolate. On the palate, cinnamon and vanilla meet the firm botanical bitterness of gentian and wormwood, creating a dark, rich, and complex flavor rather than syrupy sweetness. The producer recommends the profile with aged spirits and sweet vermouth.
Add one or two dashes to a Manhattan, Negroni, Old Fashioned, or Boulevardier, or use it to accent whiskey, rum, tequila, and brandy cocktails. A built-in dasher supports controlled pouring. This listing is for one 200 mL bottle at 44% ABV / 88 proof, presented as a concentrated cocktail flavoring.
