Westland Garryana 2019 Edition 4|1 is a celebrated release in Westland Distillery's Native Oak Series, which highlights the distinctive influence of Quercus garryana, or Garry oak, a rare oak species native to the Pacific Northwest. This American single malt whiskey is a blend of spirits aged in a combination of cask types, including ex-Rye barrels (29%), ex-Bourbon barrels (29%), new Garry oak casks (19%), Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads (16%), and refill Garry oak barrels (7%). The maturation periods range from 44 to 75 months, resulting in a complex and layered whiskey.
