The Weller Full Proof Bourbon Whiskey is a bold and unfiltered expression of wheated bourbon excellence—crafted to showcase the full intensity of Weller's famed mash bill at its most powerful and undiluted.
✅ Final Take
Weller Full Proof is a robust, full-throttle wheated bourbon that delivers deep, rich flavors with unapologetic strength. Bottled at 114 proof (57% ABV), it retains the smoothness expected of a wheater while offering a level of intensity and complexity that seasoned bourbon drinkers crave. It’s raw, expressive, and flat-out delicious.
🥃 Style & Specs
-
Wheated bourbon using the same mash bill as Pappy Van Winkle and Weller 12 Year.
-
Bottled at 114 proof (57% ABV), non-chill filtered to preserve maximum flavor and mouthfeel.
-
No official age statement, but typically believed to be around 6 to 8 years.
👃 Nose
Opens with a rush of vanilla fudge, brown sugar, and dark cherry, followed by notes of roasted nuts, cinnamon bark, and caramel-soaked oak. There's a subtle undercurrent of leather and tobacco, giving it a rugged, mature aroma.
👅 Palate
Full-bodied and intense. Waves of molasses, toffee, toasted coconut, and dark fruit coat the palate, anchored by spice-laced oak and a hearty wheat sweetness. Despite the high proof, it remains surprisingly smooth—though bold in every sip.
🔁 Finish
Long and warming, with lingering notes of charred oak, vanilla bean, nutmeg, and a touch of dark chocolate. The heat is present but balanced, making the finish both powerful and polished.

Cask strength character in a wheated bourbon—rare and highly coveted.

🏆 In Summary
