Yoshi Matcha Liqueur blends ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha with a creamy oat milk base and neutral grain spirits. Bottled at 17 percent alcohol by volume, it stands out in the market by being completely dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, and uniquely shelf-stable even after opening. The brand incorporates roughly five grams of organic matcha sourced directly from Uji, Japan, into every bottle, resulting in a vibrant green hue with fresh, grassy aromatics. On the palate, it delivers rich, earthy green tea notes balanced by a soft sweetness, subtle vegetal bitterness, and a velvety, creamy mouthfeel that many critics compare to an alcoholic matcha latte. Because it uses real green tea, the liqueur contains natural caffeine, providing a smooth energy lift compared to espresso-based spirits. It functions as a direct, versatile alternative to traditional coffee liqueurs in modern cocktail recipes.
For a signature drink, it can be shaken with vodka or gin and a splash of simple syrup to create a vibrant green martini, or mixed with tequila and fresh lime juice for a unique twist on a margarita. For the simplest presentation, the brand recommends shaking the liqueur vigorously with ice and straining it cold over a single large ice cube.
